Assassin's Creed Introduces Bizarre AoT Crossover for Holiday Season
In a surprising crossover event that breaks traditional predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering free extra story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Questline Uncovered
According to the official release, "An unusual encounter pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where whispers of banned ceremonies and monstrous metamorphoses reverberate through the darkness." The plot presents a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a secret cult.
The adventure concentrates on "strange tests and a monstrous adversary" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Transformations
The teaser features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview ends with a powerful moment showing a character, probably the captive, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Prizes and Extra Content
Players who accomplish the quest will receive an unique katana alongside several items secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
