Incredible $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream
After a short availability earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned with an encore available until Dec. 2. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the complete package is valued at over $1,300. Additionally, there exist three different bundles available here.
The Main Attraction
The big draw is definitely permanent access to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard cartography program which enables users to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Entry Level
The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
Intermediate Package
The eight-product collection for at least $15 offers enhanced value by adding in permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

All 17 volumes of Cartographer's Annual come with this bundle, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, underground complexes, urban centers, and land masses from almost any perspective. You can even design character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously more advantageous for cartography beginners since it includes introductory guides to help you get started. The sole limitation is that while you can redeem the deal across platforms, the applications only function with Windows systems.
Philanthropic Aspect
As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. Package customization options appear near the page top, but you can also select their donation amount in the right-hand section. There's also an "Adjust Donation" drop-down just below that, allowing you to adjust the distribution percentage allocated between the platform, developer, and charity.
